The target audience for these summmaries are those people who haven't seen it all, but are so hooked they have-to-have-it-all-NOW. You know who you are. Don't mind my dry sarcasm, and I'll try to keep my personal comments separate.
Please note that more often than not, all 'quotes' are paraphrases- not exact quotes.
Kaname's really worried about Sousuke and fears he may be dead.
*Behemoth Wakes*
The school took some damage-
Sousuke is alright, having managed to jump through a window...and when he climbs back out, he sees everyone is gone. Just then a wind picks up- it's the Mithril chopper they were waiting for, and Sousuke's annoyed that they weren't a mere 10 minutes earlier.
The dust clears, to reveal Melissa, Kurtz and an M9. Kurtz cheerfully asks where his pretty girls are, and melissa neatly kicks him in the ass.
A freight ship, the George Clinton-
Seina is still with Kalinin. Kalinin tries reasoning with her, but she takes offense. She pushes her finger in his wound, and he barely flinches. Impressed, she tells him he's strange. She compares him to a priest, and he comments that wouldn't be a bad profession to change to.
She says, 'too bad I hadnt met you earlier...'
She tells him he is her enemy, and has been for too long. She only kept him alive on a whim- but now she wants to know how much he knows about the Lambda Driver technology.
He wont tell her anything, and she tells him she'll ask Kaname and Tessa...
Kurtz is driving a little truck- Melissa is runs behind it the invisible M9, and is having trouble avoiding obstacles, like highway signs.
She tells him to be careful with the stolen truck, it should stay undamaged because they should return it...
Sousuke's brooding, and asks Kurtz if he made the right decision.
Kurtz tells him he's an idiot, and tells him he should have picked first the girl he likes most. Because 'like' is entirely irrelevant, Sousuke thinks that's rediclous.
He still thinks he made the most logical choice...Kurtz cuts him off and tells him he just has to go with his instinct in a situation like that.
Then he goes on talking about love, at which point Sousuke regrets having bothered in the first place.
They're headed to the harbor- Mithril intelligence had done some prying about in the police systems, and discovered that the police had been watching a suspicious van going there.
Sousuke tells them Kaname's bracelet has a transmitter in it, and they'll be able to find the girls once they get within range.
Meanwhile the police have discovered Mithril's hack job, and, suspicious, are setting up road checks on the way to the harbor.
The van drives up into the ship, and Senia approaches. Takuma shows how glad he is to see her, but she slaps him. She lectures him about not having taken his medication (assumably to control his moods), and thus was captured, causing all of this trouble. After some whining and abuse from Senia, he finally apologizes. She hugs him. The girls watch silently.
The truck- theyre decided to go the fastest route to the harbor, which is not necessiraly the easiest one for the M9...
The girls are locked up together. Tessa tells Kaname that being around her really messes her up. She can't prevent herself from doing some really irrational things when she's around Kaname...
She moans about how she did so many stupid things....making trouble for Sousuke with her private joke... she tried to help in a situaiton she couldn't be of any help in... She's never been so stupid in her life...
Kaname asks her why, and Tessa almost answers, but changes the subject by asking Kaname if she's scared.
Kaname explains that well, yes, but...it doesn't get her down. She feels the need to resist that.
She's always like that- not just against really bad guys like now, but with people in regular life too, people who want to make trouble for her. She tells Tessa that you just have to resist.
The truck has approached a road block- IF they stop, they'd draw *alot* of attention. (Military guys, well armed, in a stolen vehicle...)
Melissa orders them to break through and that she'll do what she can to stop the cops...so they do....and the cops take off after them...
Kaname explains what it was like for her coming back to Japan after a few years living in the USA. She was really outspoken and aggressive. Kaname now sees that, but feels that those who treated her badly because of it were as much in the wrong as she had been.
Kaname says it was awful, and sometimes she had even wanted to die.
But, it stopped in high school- and now her only problem is Sousuke, who just needs to relax a little bit.
Tessa asks if Sousuke is really that much trouble, and kaname tells her that she knows he means the best, but that makes it even worse. He just has no common sense, and sometimes behaves like a real idiot. He's always so serious, but, for some reason, she just can't forget about him.
Tessa says he really is rather odd, and the girls giggle together in agreement.
A man opens the door and orders the girls to come with him...
He brings them to Kalinin- and tells Kalinin to tell him what he knows about the Lambda Driver.
Tessa quickly tells Kalinin he can't tell anything, but Kalinin's response to her is cold. She's not in any place to give him orders, he says.
The A21 man isn't amused, and prepares to shoot Kaname in the leg. Kaname braces for it, but Kalinin relents.
However he'll have to whisper the information into the man's ear, since this is top secret stuff the girls don't have clearance to hear...
The man gripes about> having to get that close to a man, and Tessa jumps forward and grambs the man's leg. While he's distracted, Kalinin grabs the man's gun....a shot goes off...
The truck races into the harbor yard to the sound of the following police sirens...
A second shot frees Kalinin- the first had killed the man...
Tessa says she was stupid again....Kalinin just apologizes for being so rude to her.
Kalanin then thanks Kaname for taking care of his subroniate...
Kaname says but she had just met Tessa- and Tessa corrects her, for it's Sousuke Kalinin is referring to.
Tessa is, in fact, Kalinin's superior...
Kaname's wordless...
Melissa tells them that the location is the freighter George Clinton....
She'll support them from outside, holding off the cops, and they have to go inside to rescue the girls...
The truck jamms up the plank, and Melissa turns off the ECS, causing the cop cars to all slide to a halt at her sudden appearance.
They request emergency rienforcements- there isn't much they can do against an unidentified Arm-Slave.
As if to prove their own point, they all shoot their handguns at her, with no effect...
Air forces are moving in, and passenger flights have been grounded for safety...
Kalinin is leading them down deeper and deeper into the freighter- Kaname wants to know why...
Tessa tells them they have to check out the bottom of the ship...
Kalinin explains that the generator cables running along the floor means something is going on down there, and they need to find out what A21 has been up to.
Kalinin says a child who believes he is an aduld may create some incredible things...
They've reached the bottom, and see a huge Arm-Slave sitting at there...it's absloutely massive.
Tessa is greatly upset- it looks to big to ever move, but if it does there would be so much destruction caused...
Takuma greets them, and tells them its his toy. He likes to call it the Behemoth.
Hes in an AS suit, and is with Seina and several armed men.
Japanese air support is moving in against the unknown Arm-Slave...
Senia explains when she knew Kalinin had gotten free, he would come down here.
Tessa insists they can't operate something like this, and Takuma tells her she's too late.
They are, after all, terrorists. But he seems to be trying to offer her some consolation, telling her that a year from now, most people will have forgotten the terror of this night. Takuma believes himself a chosen warrior, and it will please his sister to carry this out.
Tessa makes a passioned plea to him, but he doesn't listen- he tells her he liks her, but now this has to be goodbye.
Suddenly an explosion knocks all to the ground...
The cops outside exclaim, and Melissa smiles because it's now begun.
Inside, Senia orders Takumato the Behomoth-
They turn to see whats causing the rapid fire- it's Sousuke and Kurtz taking out the armed guards...
Kaname shouts a warning when she sees a downed man lift his gun- Kalinin just barely moves out of the way and the bullet passes his head, and goes on to hit Takuma in the side.
Takuma and Senia still run on.
Kaname runs to Sousuke and yells at him for how scared she was, she's nearly crying. He apologizes many times...
Kurtz wants some attention too, but only get a 'good job' from Kalinin.
Takuma is in pain, but Senia orders him to board the AS- he whines, but she is very forceful in telling him that he's worthless unless he operates it.
Her words cut him, and he climbs in while she watches.
The Behemoth begins to move. Support cables disconnect..and the AS begins to settle under it's own weight....which starts causes the freighter to tip and begin to sink.
Melissa remarks this is a bad situation...
Inside, Kurtz remarks this isn't a good situation...
kalinin orders them to flee the ship....
Tessa shouts at Takuma a last ditch appeal, warning him that he'll be 'possessed'.
Kalinin places a hand on her shoulder and shakes his head. They all turn to run....
They take off as the water begins to reach the gangway...
Melissa's drawn the AS knife, and runs to the ship, piercing the side...
Inside the Behemoth-
Tears shine trails down Takuma's face. He talks to himself as if to Senia- that he understands, and will do what he can. He says goodbye...and activates the Lambda Driver necessary to make the Behemoth mobile.
Suddenly the ship pitches sharply, and Melissa, in the AS, is hanging as the side she pierced goes up.
Kalinin stops and orders that Kaname and Tessa be taken to safety...
Kalinin doesnt go with them.
Melissa is dangling helplessly from the side of the ship...
Kalinin is in waist deep water, and has reached Senia who seems prepared to go down. He extends a hand, and offers to escape with her. She brings her gun around...and fires...
The cops have no idea what they are doing...
Suddenly a huge, massive hand plunges through the side of the ship and grabs Melissa's M9.
