I personally browse with IE, however do check my site with Netscape, and I'm sympathetic to those few Lynxers out there.
Design-wise, I personally prefer a simple style, esp. for an Utena site. Of all of Utena's artwork, Hasegawa's pieces are my favorites, and I feel a simple layout with minimal art (in both style and usage) best reflects what I love about his work. I prefer not to get into any discussions regarding legit vs. bootleg material, or subs vs. dubs, so I've tried to keep those issues off my pages as much as possible. (both debates are pointless when involving informed people- and there are plenty of sites out there for those looking for such information.)
I build in text HTML, usually in HomeSite 4.5 to make sure I'm not typo-ing in tags.
(as for the other typos- eh...I try to make only deliberate ones, but there's something missing from that logic, ne?)
I love cascading style sheets, but I hate browers (for not supporting them properly!) This site currently isn't using any :(
With the exception of merchandise images, all artwork and images were obtained and edited by me.
I made some of the merchandise images, the rest I snitched from eBay and merchants.
And I won't apologize for it either.

Well, I'm a 27yo female with hopes of getting my own studio up and running within the next few years.
Work on this site was considerably slowed due to a year of relative homelessness-
although, since 'home is where your harddrive is', I suppose I managed it alright (in places like NYC, South Beach, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii, at that)
Leanne and Frank offered moral support during the construction of this site (spanning 3 years, infrequently).
Such support usually consisted of '*shrug* Do whatever....' and 'Looks great, but I didn't go see it all', respectively.
But still, thanks.
