The first disc in this set contains a mix of music from the series and dramatic readings of the manga featuring the tv series voice actors. Some of the musical pieces are only found here, and some of the pieces are themes heard elsewhere, but not in the version presented here. This cd contains Chu-Chu's music, the music from a very special radio show heard later in the series, and some of the vocal songs heard in Nanami's animal-confusion episodes, for examples.
I believe the dramatic readings are of the manga, although with my limited understanding it seems they don't all follow dialouge exact (I'm not sure on this, I didn't try following along very hard). There is one that is very comical involving Chu-CHu, a haniwan, and a giant-sized Saionji.

The second disc is selected songs from the stage musical adaption of Utena. The musical songs are less like typical Utena songs, and more like real musical stage songs. If you drool for the duels and the instrumentals, but can't stand musical play music, you might not like much of this. However if you are a huge Broadway fan...
The songs are sung by Anthy's voice actress (all of them? or just most?), but cover a full range of tempo and mood. Some are catchy and bouncy, some are darker. A few of them even use familiar theme music from the show. There is a highly charged and fast paced ZUM, but its the closest to any duel music found here.

Note- only the liscensed version is sold as a dual set. If you (for your own reasons) pick up a Son May (or equal) cd with Anthy on the cover, that is disc two of this set. Rumor has it there is a cd with Utena in a coffin on the cover being now sold, that is said to be disc one.
